Guitar Advanced Techniques

Guitar Advanced Techniques I, steps into a more complex concepts and playing styles. Advaned lessons is where we add items and put them all together.

Always remember techniques need to be practiced slowly at first for accuracy, speed will come in time. We will work with more complex scale features that will add a little more spice to your individual playing style.

First we'll play the two octave Major scale using different fret positions on the fretbaoard.

Starting on different fingers, and playing scales horizontally and vertically.

We will link root 5 scales to root 6 scales which aids in fretboard navigation. The root 5 and root 6 chord forms are an aid in determing where each chord begins, and where scales in-turn begin also.

Also a look at the pentatonic minor scale, which will add some quick lead playing techniques into your arsenal of solo playing.

We'll round it out with the basic square scale pattern. How we can break it down, and combine it with other scales to produce and arpeggiate it for distinct effects.
