Guitar Advanced Techniques III

Guitar Advanced Techniques III, takes steps into a more complex concepts and playing styles.

Advanced lessons is where we add items and put them all together.

Always remember techniques need to be practiced slowly at first for accuracy, speed will come in time. We will work with more complex scale features that will add a little more spice to your individual playing style.

First we'll form chords scales playing them in different fret positions on the fretbaoard.

Starting on Root 6 chord scales moving to more complex Root 6 to Root 5, and root 5 to Root 6.

Then look at basic chord substitution determining placement of extended chords, and how they relate to the basic progression patterns.

One well known pattern is the I IV I.

Further Substitutions will include Producing your own turnarounds. Once you know what is required musically, you'll be able to produce your own turnarounds form a certain music piece.

We'll round it out with other advanced techniques such as the Flat 5th principle.
