Guitar Blues shuffle rhythm also uses a four beat measure, but is also contrast by where emphasis is placed.
So we start with 1 2 3 4, and then we move to
1 and 2 and 3 and 4
It goes: Onne 'a twoo 'a three 'a four 'a
Here the first part of the beat one is kinda dragged out to form 3/4ths the beat, and the second part the 'a gets 1/4 of the beat. This occurs for all four notes throughout the measure.
This is used extensively with the 12 bar blues pattern. Practice it again slowly at first and accurate. Speed will come with time.
