Secret Guitar Patterns is only a secret if you can't see
them. And most people who look at a guitar fretboard don't have a clue of how to play songs on the guitar. But you have tried to play and are familiar and light years ahead of the majority of people. But can you see the pattern? That's the
backgroung idea for producing this site. Yes if you can't see the pattern when you glance down at the fretboard then it's a secret to you.
I have constructed a free lesson plan that you can use to get you to the point of seeing the secret guitar patterns. This is a step by step progression to allow you to navigate the fretboard beyond the open chords near the nut of the guitar. There's nothing wrong with playing open chords at the nut, but playing along the
neck will make you more versatile and allow you to see patterns.
So here we go: this is a sort of blueprint to learn to play guitar kwikly and navigate these secret guitar patterns more readily.
Block I
Lesson 1. Learn the features of your instrument, what they are used for and how they operate.
Guitar body, neck, frets,volume and tone controls,
string tuning,
pickups etc.
Lesson 2. Learn the major scale ,
get a general understanding of the notes, and intervals inbetween the notes.
Also research how to manipulate notes of the major scale to form other scale types.
Lesson 3. Learn open position chords.
These are the forms that will be use to make your barre
chords used along the neck of the guitar.
Lesson 4. Learn root 6 chords.
These are moveable chords built on the open position forms and rooted on the 6th string.
Lesson 5. Learn root 5 chords. These are moveable chords built on the open position forms and rooted on the 5th string.
Lesson 6. Learn to play chord scales. Practice using the E open form barre at the 1st fret to form an F major chord. Using the same intervals as the major scale play a F major chord scale. Also form minor chords, minor chords
on the 2nd,3rd,and 6th degree of the chord scale. And a diminished chord on the 7th degree of the chord scale. Proceed on down the neck until you get to the 13th fret
with the F chord one octave higher.
Lesson 7. Learn to play chord scales using root 5 chords. Using the open A form , start at the 3rd fret with a C major chord, forming a chord scale, by proceeding down the neck till you get to the 15th fret. Use the same intervals as the major scale and use minor chords on the 2nd, 3rd, and 6th degrees of the scale.
And a diminished chord on the 7th degree.
Lesson 8. Learn to play chord scale using the first four chords root6 position. www.kwikchordguitar.com/root6
Use the second four chords from the root5 position.
Lesson 9. Learn to playchord scale using the first four chords root 5 position. and the second four on the root 6 position.
Lesson 10. Practice these two scales, back and forth till the patterns comes alive to you.
This simple lesson will greatly assist your learning to playup and down the neck of the guitar. Practice practice practice. No matter if you use a free site or you use a pay site. There's no substitute for practicing these secret guitar paterns technique yourself. No one can put it in your head but you, the price you'll have to pay is practice.
